Step-by-Step to a basic Linux Server

Once you have signed up with Host Africa, log on to our web portal at http://www.hostafrica.co.za (click the LOGIN buttonin the top-right corner of the page)

Once logged in, click on "Order New Services" as demonstrated below:

Once in the "Shopping Cart", select the size of server that will meet your needs. Host Africa has standard packages designed to meet most needs. We do offer customised servers at additional cost, though it works out quicker and cheaper to try and find the standard package which comes the closest to what you need.
Now click on "Order Now" under the package of your choice as shown below:

Once you have clicked on "Order Now" your order detail will be shown to you again to confirm:

When you have confirmed, you will be asked your preferred billing cycle, configurable options where you can install control panels if you want to and also which operating system you want installed. The OS choice is a drop-down and will show you the available images. We can, at request, add an image of your choice or a custom image.

Once you have have made your choices, click on the green "add to cart & checkout" button to send the order and to move on to our payment portal. Your choices will be confirmed on the next page where you click on "Go" to confirm and move on to the Payment Portal.

Once your order has been processed and accepted, you will receive an email which gives you all the accessdetails and you will see the following on you Host Africa Logon page:

The number of services may vary if you have set up more than one. Click on "Services", either on the image or the text menu-bar across the top of the page. This will lead you to the following page where you can click on "Active" to get to your server settings page:
